The winter months are a spectacular time to explore the Coorong.
Winter has some of the best weather conditions with gorgeous days and light winds.
It is also when the wildlife in the Coorong can be at its best, with Pelicans, Fur Seals and Dolphins seen regularly, as well as some spectacular scenery.
This tour allows you to explore the beauty of the Coorong and Murray Mouth. With a relaxing paddle around the Murray Mouth and a walk over the sand dunes to the Coorong Beach in the heart of Storm Boy country.
You will be warmed up with some delicious home-made goodies and hot chocolate.

Age – children under 5 are welcome to join a supervising adult on application – please email us directly to discuss extra considerations (weather conditions etc will need to be assessed for suitability)
What to Bring:
10am Meet at the Sugars Beach boat ramp
10:30 Introduction and get on the water
11am Kayak around the iconic Murray Mouth
11:30 Walk over the dunes to the spectacular Coorong Beach
12pm Enjoy homemade goodies and hot chocolate
12:30 Say farewell to the Coorong
1pm Kayak back to Sugars Beach and maybe try your luck at catching some fish
1:30 Arrive back at your car
